God Created Truth

A verse found in the ACIM Text portion, Chapter 1 – The Meaning of Miracles.   Section I – Principles of Miracles.  Verse 36.  Sentence 1 states that:  “Miracles are examples of right thinking, aligning your perceptions with truth as God created it.” (T-1.I.36:1)

Here’s my interpretation:

Truth is all that God has created.  All that God has created is infinite.  Truth has been here since before the dawn of humankind and Truth will remain long after humankind is no more.

Truth is God’s love.  Truth is infinite.

A miracle occurs when, in the moment, your perceptions, your inner thoughts, and your actions align with God’s infinite, true love.

When you live your life walking, talking, and breathing Truth, then you are walking, talking, and breathing Love and miracles occur.

The Miracle of the Gift of the Present

Be aware of your thoughts.  Be aware of what your inner voice is saying to you.

Are you feeling regret or depression?   Anger?  Resentful?  Any of these types of feelings or thoughts means you are most likely thinking of events that have happened in the past.

Are you feeling anxious?  Worried?  Day dreaming?  And of these types of feelings or thoughts means you are most likely thinking of events that may or may not ever occur in the future.

Are you focused?  Are you paying attention to the task at hand; be it stirring honey in your tea, eating a good breakfast, driving in a car, modifying a corporate project plan, speaking to a colleague, reading a book to a child, or rinsing the dishes?  If you are simply staying with one task at a time, focusing all your mental activity on what your brain and body are doing, then you are living in the present.

Live your life in the Miracle of the Moment, the Gift of the Present.

I was on lesson 232 for my daily devotional from A Course In Miracles.  As I read it, I knew it sounded vaguely familiar, but my brain couldn’t quite determine what this familiarity was.  Later that day, I was preparing for my Sunday school lesson and the assigned reading was Psalm 23.

While reading psalm 23, a lightbulb went off in my brain and I determined where my feelings of familiarity came from.  These two readings had similar themes and I was to pay attention to their message.

Being the lover of Angels and knowing they like to remind me of their presence in ways they know I will understand, I immediately turned to my Angel Numerology App and entered 232.  As I read the meaning of the numbers, I was again delighted with the Angel’s message for the day.

All three of these readings have the theme of trust.  Trust that there is an almighty Creator that provides perpetual inner peace.  Dwell in this Creator’s peace made known to us by the Angels, Ascended Masters (Jesus, Buddha, White Buffalo Calf Women, Mother Mary, etc) and the Holy Spirit.  Know that these Celestial Beings are always there to comfort, guide, listen, and to bring you home.

Psalm 23 – New International Version.

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.  He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.  He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.  Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.  You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.  You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.  Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

232 – Angel Numerology

Don’t focus on problems or lack, but instead stay centered in prayer and faith that you are protected, loved and watched over by powerful ascended masters.

Lesson 232 from the A course in Miracles Workbook for students

 Be in my mind, my Father, when I wake, and shine on me throughout the day today.  Let every minute be a time in which I dwell with You.  And let me not forget my hourly thanksgiving that You have remained with me, and always will be there to hear my call to You and answer me.  As evening comes, let all my thoughts be still of You and Your Love.  And let me sleep sure of my safety, certain of Your care and happily aware I am Your Child.

Remember, there are no coincidences!  There are only God Winks.

May today, I have peace within.

May God’s love guide my heart to a place of joy and rest.

Free from anxiety

Free from worry

Free from the human-minded things that make up my busy life.

May today, I feel God’s love as it joyously radiates in my soul.

May today, I concern myself with nothing of human pain, and nothing of the human condition of separateness.

May today, I simply be a light, emanating love, peace, compassion.

May today I remember that all that matters is God’s love.

Remember – God is shaping, molding and expanding each of us and the Universe. All is safe in his capable hands.

Arch Angel Gabriel

Yesterday during my church’s advent festival concert, we sang the musical piece “Gabriel’s Message”.  The words went something like this: “The Angel Gabriel came to the Blessed Mary and as seers foretold, he said, most highly favored Lady… Gloria”.  If you’ve attended any sort of Christmas concert, you can probably recall the music I am referring to.

Anyway, today I got to thinking that people may be wondering who the Angel Gabriel is so I decided to write a mini review of this tenacious, amazing and hardworking celestial being.

Angels were one of God’s first creations and were here long before the dawn of mankind.  All angels are God’s messengers and Arch Angel Gabriel is one of God’s most clear message communicators.  Angels are neither male nor female; however Gabriel’s energy tends to be more feminine as opposed to Arch Angels Michael’s masculine energy.

In the Christian tradition, most people know that the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary to tell her she would be the mother of the Messiah, Jesus Christ.  To Zechariah, Gabriel proclaimed that he would be the father of John the Baptist.   Gabriel is also sited to have assisted the great prophet Daniel with his visions of the future.

Did you know that Arch Angel Gabriel was also prominent in the Jewish and Islamic traditions?  In the Islamic tradition, Arch Angel Gabriel appeared to Muhamad and assisted in the writing of the Qur’an.   In Jewish mysticism, Gabriel was a prominent figure in the life of Enoch and assisted in the life and ascension of this godly man.

So, what does all this mean for us today?  As with all angels, Arch Angel Gabriel is standing by willing, waiting, wanting to assist us in the day to day details of our lives.  If you need some clear guidance especially with raising children, call on Gabriel for wisdom, patience and insights.  If you need a clear message to help with a specific issue in your life, call on this celestial being and like the copper trumpet that is often depicted with Gabriel’s presence, you may hear your answer.

As for me, I know that Gabriel is a dominant presence in the band of angels that are always with me.  Arch Angel Gabriel’s energy becomes prominent when I need guidance, reassurance and comfort that all is and will be well.  Thank you Gabriel, and thank you all Angels, Ascended Masters and Spirit for always surrounding me and all of humanity with God’s infinite love.

As I prepare for hosting the Thanksgiving dinner feast, I am in awe of all that I truly am thankful for.

As I determine all that must be accomplished prior to Thanksgiving Day, I am thankful for my brain that can organize and disseminate the growing list of chores, errands, and communication that must occur. And, as my brain often wanders from this task, I am grateful for my eyes that allow me to look out the window and see the sun shining on the multitude of colors that I see in the leaves on the trees, the wings of the birds and all the other beautiful and natural details that make up my yard.

Then, as my day progresses, I am grateful for my body that carries me, allows me to drive, and gives me the freedom to do what needs to be done. As I join in with my fellow human beings in the long lines of crowds, I am grateful and incredibly blessed that I have the ability to purchase what my family and I will enjoy in the next coming days.

I am blessed with friends and family who will be able to feast with me. I am blessed that all of my earthly needs are taken care of and that I have the luxury of a roof over my head, fresh water to drink, clothing to keep me warm, and food in abundance.

Mostly, what I am thankful for is the inner peace that I have found through God’s infinite, celestial and amazing messengers that we know as angels. I am grateful for the Holy Spirit that permeates throughout my life and helps me know the good and the positive in my small part of the world. I am grateful knowing that despite the natural and man-made turbulence in other parts of the world, God is in control. God has the plan. God’s love will prevail.

For this Thanksgiving, I ask that you each reflect on all that you have. Remember that in this world, all you can control are your own choices and your own reactions. Ask the Angels and the Holy Spirit to help you view the world from a loving and grateful perspective. Slow down, choose to see the goodness in the world, trust God, and be at peace.

A positive attitude can be remembered via the acronym ECO which stands for Enthusiasm, Confidence and Optimism.

Enthusiasm. It ends with the letters IASM which stands for I Am Sold Myself. If you’re not sold on your idea, yourself, your product, your skills, your everything then no one will be sold on you either. Be enthusiastic on what you do and who you are. Enthusiasm is contagious!

Confidence. Be Confident in yourself. Be aware of your “inner” language. Are you encouraging yourself with statements like “I am courageous”, “I am kind”, “I am successful”, “I am learning”, etc? Or, are your inner thoughts full of statements like “I can’t do this”, “I am mean”, “I am a failure”, “I am dumb”.

Make your inner thought language positive and self-building, not negative and self-defeating.

Optimism. Be Optimistic! There is almost always a positive perspective to any situation. Look on the bright side of life. Diligently find and choose a viewpoint that is uplifting and encouraging.

Using ECO, here’s my life situation: My goal is to formally launch my Angel Card Message Ministry. I am working on establishing my Media presence and preparing myself mentally, physically, emotionally and mostly spiritually to be of service to God and to humanity.

Enthusiasm: I have ignored my higher calling all of my life and I am now dedicating my life to serving God and the Angels. I am stepping out of my Spiritual Closet and I am being who I truly believe God has meant for me to be. How blessed am I that I can live my life in such a way! This is exciting!

Confidence: I have studied the angels for 3 years now. God’s love, the Angels and Spirit are a part of who I am, my thought processes and how I interact in the world. I have spent the time, energy and resources to become a knowledgeable and formally ordained Interfaith Minister. I continue to study and refine my Light-Worker knowledge. I am confident in my skills, my brain and my spirit that I am ready to walk the path before me. I know, without a doubt that God is encouraging, pleased with and walking with me every step of the way.

Optimism: Many days, I encounter little human interaction and until my ministry is known to others, this is to be expected. Shall I view this time as being lonely (negative), or shall I view it as a time for me to grow, to attune my Spirit to be more closely with God’s Spirit (positive). It is all in my diligence in choosing the positive viewpoint. Guess which perspective I am choosing!

I wish you an ECO based – Enthusiasm, Confidence and Optimistic positive attitude day today.
